Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our sales team by generating and qualifying leads for customers moving to AWS and existing AWS customers looking to maximize their cloud investments. This role is crucial in building a strong sales pipeline by identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential customers who can benefit from ATG’s AWS expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting – Identify and engage potential customers through outbound prospecting, social selling, and industry networking.
  • Qualify Leads for the Sales Team – Conduct discovery calls to assess customer needs and determine fit for AWS and ATG services.
  • Develop Strong Customer Relationships – Serve as an initial point of contact for prospects, educating them on how ATG can help with AWS migration, optimization, and security.
  • Collaborate with AWS and Internal Teams – Work closely with AWS account teams and ATG sales leaders to align on lead generation strategies and co-selling opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management – Maintain an organized and up-to-date pipeline in CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of outreach activities and customer interactions.
  • Market Intelligence & Outreach Strategy – Stay updated on AWS trends and customer pain points to tailor outreach messaging and improve conversion rates.
  • Drive Awareness for AWS Marketplace & ATG Services – Educate prospects on AWS Marketplace and how ATG’s services can help them accelerate cloud adoption.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in cloud computing, SaaS, or IT services.
  • Understanding of AWS services, cloud computing, or IT consulting is a plus.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, and LinkedIn networking to engage and qualify leads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate cloud solutions to both technical and business audiences.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a growth mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) and lead tracking best practices.
