Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Analyst to provide expert-level financial analysis, insights, and support to our billing operations and overall financial strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, exceptional Excel proficiency, strong analytical abilities, and experience with QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

●   Expert Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop sophisticated financial models, perform in-depth variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.

●   Billing Process Optimization: Analyze existing billing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and revenue recognition.

●   Data-Driven Insights: Extract, clean, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations.

●   QuickBooks Expertise: Utilize QuickBooks extensively for financial reporting, data extraction, and ensuring accurate and timely financial records related to billing and other areas.

●   Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track financial performance, identify trends, and communicate results to stakeholders.

●   Collaboration and Communication: Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Delivery, to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance.

●   Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support business initiatives and address specific questions.

●   Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of financial models, processes, and analysis.

Qualifications:

●      Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.   

●   Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within a technical company is a plus.

●   Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and ideally VBA or Power Query.

●   Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition principles, and financial accounting.

●   Demonstrated experience working with QuickBooks for financial reporting and analysis.

●   Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.

●   Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.   

●   Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

●   Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
