The Solutions Consultant is an integral part of our sales force. You will work directly with our sales and technical teams and prospective clients, ensuring technological needs can and will be met by our software solutions. The Solution Consultant enables marketing, sales, and other customer-facing teams with product collateral, including preparing and delivering tailored, solution-oriented demonstrations.
The Solutions Consultant is well versed in the application of software solutions provided to construction industry, including General Contractors, Developers, Builders, Service, and others.
Work Location:
This position will report to the Director of Sales North America and will be a fully remote position, with the employee primarily working out of their residential home office.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ownership of product expertise and certifications: Sage Intacct & Sage Intacct Construction, AvidXchange, Titanuim / Timberscan – All versions, Operix CRE products, Construction Operations & Estimating products
- Provide professional demonstrations on Sage Intacct Construction, All point solutions, build and maintain demo data for products of ownership, RFP technical support and delivery & create demo scripts
- Partners with Sales Team to identify project risks and issues. Work together to collaboratively develop and articulate mitigation strategies
- Pipeline & Sales Support: Maintain visibility into the sales pipeline, support the Account Executive (A/E) in technical closure, confirm anticipated close dates, identify obstacles preventing client purchase, ensure accuracy and completeness of the Sales Opportunity Form (SOF), validate BANT criteria, and assess competition.
- Sales Enablement & Mentorship: Provide industry and product support to Account Executives (A/E), assist with mentoring and onboarding, and take responsibility for maintaining relevant product and industry knowledge, including certifications and badges.
- Content Creation & Management: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Management to deliver monthly webinars and produce video content, maintain video channels for all owned products, and work with Marketing to ensure content remains current and outdated material (12 months+) is removed from the site.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business technology, accounting, or a related field of study.
- 3+ years’ experience with ERP software consulting/implementation, with preference given to experience with Sage Intacct and the construction industry.
- Positive “Can-Do” attitude and team player.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Impeccable customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong aptitude for ERP software products.
- Ability to thrive in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding client base.
- Accounting background, including the ability to intelligently discuss accounting-related concepts.
- Experience with standard office software, including Office 365, OneNote, Salesforce, Out-reach
- Ability to travel as needed.
