About the role

  • The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the organization's financial reporting and compliance requirements.

What you'll do

  • Oversee general ledger activity, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Monitor daily cash activity
  • Review payroll and related benefit entries
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff
  • Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
  • Support external audits
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Primarily office based with standard business hours; occasional evenings or weekends may be required near fiscal deadlines
