About the role
What you'll do
· Architecture & Design: Design and architect scalable, secure network solutions for enterprise clients. Develop comprehensive network topologies and create detailed architecture diagrams that clearly document infrastructure designs, data flows, and security controls.
· Cloud Infrastructure Management: Implement and manage multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Design hybrid cloud architectures that integrate seamlessly with on-premises infrastructure.
· Network Protocol Implementation: Configure and optimize advanced networking protocols including MPLS, GRE, BGP, and other enterprise-grade technologies. Manage network loads and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
· Security Analysis & Implementation: Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities. Implement zero trust security frameworks and automated response systems for threat detection and incident response.
· Documentation & Diagramming: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture diagrams, network documentation, and technical specifications. Ensure all designs are properly documented for future maintenance and troubleshooting.
· Technical Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to junior network engineers when needed and coordinate work with external contractors and vendors on specific projects.
· Project Execution: Lead the technical implementation of network infrastructure projects. Ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and on budget while meeting security and performance requirements.
· Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts, project status, challenges, and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. Translate complex technical requirements into business language.
· Technology Innovation: Stay current with emerging networking technologies, security trends, and industry best practices. Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that drive value for clients.
Qualifications
. 3-5 years' experience in network engineering, architecture, and security analysis with a focus on enterprise environments.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a relevant technical field; advanced degree or certifications (CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, AWS/Azure certifications) a plus.
· Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures.
· Deep expertise in networking protocols including MPLS, GRE, BGP, and enterprise routing/switching technologies.
· Experience building and designing network infrastructures from the ground up, with strong skills in creating detailed architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
· Experience with penetration testing methodologies and vulnerability assessment tools.
· Knowledge of zero trust security frameworks and automated response systems for network security.
· Experience managing network loads, performance optimization, and scalability planning.
· Proficiency with network monitoring tools, automation platforms, and infrastructure as code practices.
· Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate complex concepts for business stakeholders.
