About the role


As a Solutions Engineering Manager at Ambyint, you will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and identify, qualify, and support and close both new business opportunities and expansion opportunities with existing customers. The focus is building relationships and increasing the company’s market share for our SaaS solutions. This is a solution-oriented sell with complexity as you are meaningfully impacting operations within Exploration and Production organizations in the Oil & Gas sector.


What you'll do

  • Provide technical support, expertise, and guidance to Business Development Managers during the pre-sales and sales process
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, showcasing our product capabilities
  • Provide onboarding and technical support for pilot customers
  • Provide technical input and support for Well Optimization Managed Services customers
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure that customer requirements and feedback are incorporated into our product roadmap
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development Managers to develop and implement growth initiatives
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, such as solution design documents and use case guides
  • Conduct product training sessions for the Business Development team to ensure they have the technical knowledge required to sell our products effectively
  • Monitor and report on key metrics related to pre-sales technical support and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in upstream oil/gas, either in an E&P or service provider role
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or an industry-related field (Associate’s degree in an industry-related field will also be considered if there is significant work experience)
  • A strong understanding of oil and gas production and related technology applications
  • Experience in artificial lift optimization, particularly plunger lift
  • Strong self-discipline and real drive for performance
  • Keen interest in O&G operations, production, and GHG reduction goals
  • Innate ability to understand customers pain points and build a resolution pathway
