About American Kids Sports Center
Founded in 1984 as American Academy of Gymnastics, American Kids Sports Center (AKSC) has grown into one of California's most unique and successful kids sports center. Under the direction of owners Mike & Sheri Williams, AKSC has established an organization that sees its purpose as helping children to learn strong VALUES with which they will set worthy GOALS and for which we must train them in the SKILLS needed to achieve those goals. Sport training is the tool we use to achieve that purpose.
About the role
- We provide Ninja Zone instruction to our community that builds confidence and develops safety skills in a student-centered environment. We are committed to training our staff to teach ninja zone lessons, giving them the tools they need to be successful. This is a diverse, inclusive and supportive workplace.

- As a Ninja Zone instructor you are responsible for the safety of each class and teaching ninja skills to students using our curriculum.
- You will work to build confidence within your students, encouraging each student to rise to the best of their abilities.
- You can expect to be regularly communicating with students and fellow staff members. You should be someone who welcomes feedback and is a continuous learner.
- As a Ninja Zone instructor you will report to the Ninja Zone manager during shifts and provide support throughout the gym as needed.

- Complete required training and be a continual learner.
- Follow our curriculum with a focus on the needs, abilities and comfort of each student.

Qualifications
- Caring and compassion for children and adult.
- Strong communication skills.
- Great attitude and willingness to be coached.
- The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, afternoons and weekends required
