About the role

ATS (American Technology Services) is seeking a junior software engineer to join our team. In this role you will apply your educational knowledge on how to build and evolve in our data platform management.  Support complex IT Infrastructure projects and integrations, ensuring seamless collaboration between product, software engineering, operations, analytics, marketing, and infrastructure teams.

What you'll do

• Participate in the design, build, and enhance critical services, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing.
• Develop data capture and collection services using pioneering technologies across diverse infrastructure environments (Kubernetes, OpenStack, etc.).
• Participate in the design and develop core software modules for real-time and batch data processing.
• Participate in construct Metrics ingestion pipelines, Alert definitions, and automation for Dashboard lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Knowledge in software engineering background
• 1 + years of hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Java, Python, SQL, C++)
• Conceptual knowledge of production-level Software Development includes the conception, specifying, crafting, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing involved in building and maintaining applications, frameworks, or other software components.
