About the role
ATS (American Technology Services) is seeking a skilled and driven Technical Project Manager to lead IT initiatives across multiple teams and external vendors. In this role you will manage complex IT Infrastructure projects and integrations, ensuring seamless collaboration between product, software engineering, operations, analytics, marketing, and infrastructure teams. You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project execution, from planning to delivery, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. This position is suited for a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, top-notch business acumen with the ability to drive projects to successful completion in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments is a plus
What you'll do
- Lead project teams in the planning, execution, and delivery for IT infrastructure, Cybersecurity and software Development projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, schedules, and status reports.
- Act as a liaison between infrastructure, data, engineering, product management, and external vendors to drive project success.
- Proactively identify potential project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Frequently communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned.
- Manage documentation and organization of Atlassian tools JIRA/Odoo and COTS
- Present regular updates to executives and key stakeholders and provide detailed project reports and KPIs.
- Develop and manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Implement best practices for project management to improve efficiency and quality across teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP or similar certification.
- 4+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on IT, infrastructure, or data-driven projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and infrastructure requirements.
- Familiarity with APIs, and AI integration tools.
- Proven experience in managing technical projects across cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence, Airtable, etc.)
- Leadership experience in driving large-scale projects and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams.
- Must be highly adaptable and experienced in collaborating cross-culturally, working with near-shore and offshore teams.
- Experience managing teams both domestically and internationally is a must.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, technical challenges.
