the job

This is an exciting internship opportunity for someone passionate about international sales + haircare! As the International Sales Intern, you’ll work closely with the UK Account Manager to support the rapid growth of amika in key markets such as the UK and work in partnership with some of the biggest global beauty retailers. This is a dynamic, hands-on role offering exposure to all facets of international sales, inclusive of new launch strategy, planning & execution. salary: $16 per hour

location: Brooklyn, NY (must be based in + have the right to work in the US)



what you'll do:

  • New Product Launch Support: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare new product documentation and manage PDP (product detail page) images to ensure readiness for sale.
  • Sampling Campaign Management: You’ll own the execution of sampling campaigns at key retailers and work alongside the Account Manager to select products, timing and manage sample logistics inside + out.  
  • Marketing Calendar Management:  You’ll maintain and update the marketing focus calendar, ensuring alignment with omni-channel activations + promotions across all retail partners.
  • Update Retailer Sites: You’ll audit all product images and descriptions to ensure that they are effective as possible.
  • Track Performance: Monitor new product sales and holiday sell-through, providing regular performance insights.
  • Market Monitoring: Keep an eye on industry trends and competitive activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Jump In Where Needed: Take on ad hoc projects, reporting, and presentations to help push the brand forward.

must haves:

  • Actively pursuing or have a degree in Business, Buying, Marketing or a related field
  • Strong passion for the beauty industry and interest in global sales
  • Proactive and eager to grow, bringing creative thinking and initiative to new challenges
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented with excellent time management and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Fast learner with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments
  • Collaborative team member who also performs well independently
  • Effective communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
