Job Title: Logistics Analyst
Job Location: Pennsauken Township, NJ
Salary: $75K Per Year
Job Duties: Perform both operational and tactical analysis to meet logistics deliverables. The
detailed job duties include:
Improve inbound and outbound material flow and optimize material flow throughout the warehouse by implementing Lean manufacturing practices; Investigate root causes and perform corrective action to resolve transportation issues to improve on-time delivery; Implement Lean continuous improvement programs with suppliers; Support carrier collaboration, coordination of third-party logistics, warehouse material logistics and kitting processes; Monitor three different MRPs containing greater than 250 product numbers and over $5M in annual spend in logistics; Evaluate operational risk, plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate shipment delays by considerable amount; Generate weekly and quarterly logistical supply plans to increase efficiency and profit by using ERP Module; Support the transportation procurement with the creation, compilation and communication of various reports, scorecards and metrics; Review landed cost sheets to ensure that shipping costs and current duties are correct; Create and process shipping documentation to move inventory and sales support materials worldwide (i.e. invoices, packing lists, bills of lading); Prepare and execute movement of product and sales related inventory by using SAP by design Module; Communicate with numerous LTL carriers on a daily basis from corporate level to the local level to ensure performance standard are met and drive resolution of exceptions.
Requirements:
· Master’s Bachelor in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Industrial Engineering related field; OR
· Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Industrial Engineering related field with two years related work experience.
