the job:

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for optimizing inbound and outbound material flow, improving warehouse efficiency through Lean practices, and ensuring on-time delivery across global supply chain operations. This role supports carrier collaboration, supplier improvement initiatives, and third-party logistics coordination while managing complex MRPs and multimillion-dollar logistics spend. The analyst develops and executes supply chain plans, monitors operational risks, and streamlines transportation and documentation processes to drive cost savings, mitigate delays, and increase profitability.


salary: $80,000

location: hybrid (must be based in NJ/PA + have the right to work in the US)



what you'll do:

  • Improve inbound/outbound material flow and warehouse processes using Lean manufacturing practices.
  • Investigate root causes of transportation issues and implement corrective actions to improve on-time delivery.
  • Implement Lean continuous improvement programs with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with carriers, third-party logistics providers, and warehouse teams for seamless operations.
  • Monitor three MRPs with 250+ product numbers and $5M+ annual logistics spend.
  • Evaluate operational risks and implement contingency plans to reduce shipment delays.
  • Generate weekly and quarterly supply chain/logistics plans using ERP systems.
  • Support transportation procurement with reports, scorecards, and performance metrics.
  • Review landed cost sheets to validate shipping costs and duties.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
  • Manage product and sales inventory movement using SAP ByDesign.
  • Communicate with LTL carriers at corporate and local levels to ensure service standards and resolve exceptions.


must haves:

  • Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Industrial Engineering; OR Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for transportation and supply chain issues.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP ByDesign preferred) and MRP management.
  • Ability to prepare/process global shipping documentation and review landed costs.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
