Role Overview:

We’re seeking an exceptional Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the design and development of our high-power (2kV // 7kA) non-invasive TMS neuromodulation system. You’ll drive the architecture of the world’s most efficient, scalable brain stimulator—improving our current system while designing a next-gen v2. This is a hands-on role for a 10x engineer passionate about mental health, with the opportunity to build a team as we grow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Integration: Define system architecture, integrate subsystems.
  • Circuit Design: Design and lay out control circuit boards and other key electronics.
  • Firmware Development: Program in C++
  • Component & Compliance: Specify components, ensure regulatory standards.
  • Testing & Risk: Develop tests, manage safety risks, build to medical device standards.
  • Contractor & Vendor Management: Oversee contractors, collaborate with vendors.
  • Documentation & Improvement: Maintain records, drive design improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Driven and Talented: Highly motivated, with a good feedback loop. Missing skills can be learned.
  • Problem-Solving: Solve complex system integration challenges.
  • Experience: 5+ years in the field; Bachelor in EE required, masters preferred.
  • Collaboration: Lead and work within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in system specs and integration.
