WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization’s human resources functions. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and Onboarding:
• • Source and screen candidates for open positions.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
  • Extend offers of employment and manage the onboarding process.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate employee records.
• Benefits Administration:
• • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Process enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits.
• Employee Relations:
• • Address employee concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct investigations as needed and take appropriate action.
  • Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Compliance:
• • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential compliance issues.
• HR Projects:
• • Participate in various HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and policy development.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HR Generalist role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
