What you’ll do:
The Corporate Controller will play a pivotal role in leading the accounting and treasury functions of a rapidly scaling organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, establishing robust accounting policies, and implementing systems and processes that support growth. As a trusted partner to the CFO and leadership team, the Corporate Controller will combine technical accounting expertise with operational leadership to drive efficiency, compliance, and business insights across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical accounting expertise, hands-on operational experience, and leadership skills to manage a growing accounting function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Accounting and Treasury functions
- Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.
- Partner cross-functionally to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Optimize accounting processes and reporting systems to support a scaling business.
- Lead multi-entity consolidations and manage global accounting operations.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases).
- Manage internal and external audits, serving as the primary point of contact with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with debt and lending covenant requirements.
- Establish and create Company accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff, including offshore team.
- Drive continuous improvements in accounting technology, including ERP/CRM integrations and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required).
- 7+ years experience in accounting and finance.
- 5+ years in an accounting leadership role.
- 2+ years public accounting experience at a national or regional firm.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and multi-entity consolidation.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, or similar).
- Track record of supporting a fast-growing, scaling company with evolving needs.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an operational mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to senior leadership.
- Debt compliance and covenant reporting experience.
Preferred/Plus Qualifications
- M&A accounting and integration experience.
- ERP implementation leadership.
- Experience managing offshore accounting teams.
- Industry experience in SaaS, Managed Services and Technology.
