About the Role

We’re reinventing the insurance industry with modern tech—smarter operations, stronger customer engagement, and real growth. We’re looking for a Product Manager, Accounting to lead key accounting features in our product.

In this role, you’ll partner with our Head of Product to drive roadmap execution and improve the core accounting features our customers rely on. You’ll bring real accounting experience and product intuition to help us build an intuitive, accurate, and modern product.

We’re looking for someone who can translate accounting logic into intuitive product flows, spot edge cases before they become bugs, and move quickly while keeping quality and compliance top of mind.

What You’ll Do

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our accounting features (e.g., insurance specific ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, reporting).
• Partner with stakeholders to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to define and ship high-impact features that balance functionality, usability, and compliance.
• Define and track success metrics to measure product performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay on top of industry trends, accounting standards, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
• Translate complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Ensure our accounting product integrates smoothly with other parts of the platform and with third-party systems supporting business general ledger (e.g., QuickBooks, ERPs, CRMs).

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of product management experience, ideally working on financial or accounting software.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, resulting in strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, reconciliation, debits/credits, etc.)
• Experience building B2B SaaS products with complex backend systems and data workflows.
• Ability to write clear, detailed product specs and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail — especially when it comes to data accuracy and compliance.
• Experience working in agile development environments.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $160,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
