Summary:

Anaconda is seeking a talented Deal Desk Manager to join our Legal team, partner cross-functionally, including with our rapidly-growing Go-To-Market (GTM) Operations team, and play a critical role in scaling the operational foundations that enable our Revenue organization to move faster and more efficiently. You'll blend hands-on deal support with strategic project ownership, serving as a trusted advisor to our Revenue, Finance, and Legal teams while driving continuous improvements to our Quote-to-Cash processes. As Anaconda continues its growth trajectory, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our deal operations evolve in lockstep with the needs of the business.


What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary operational partner and trusted advisor to our Revenue organization on deal construct, negotiation, and approval processes for complex transactions
  • Provide front-line support for sales reps on CPQ, quoting, and contracting issues, ensuring deals move efficiently through the pipeline
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Revenue, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless deal execution and maintain compliance with company policies
  • Build, own, and continuously improve the Deal Desk knowledge base, creating scalable documentation and self-service resources that empower the Revenue organization
  • Identify bottlenecks in the Quote-to-Cash workflow and propose data-backed, scalable solutions that drive measurable impact
  • Integrate and refine AI-powered workflows within Deal Desk processes to enhance efficiency and decision-making capabilities
  • Ensure all deal approvals and contract terms comply with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and support accurate revenue forecasting
  • Partner with GTM Operations teams to drive CPQ and Salesforce enhancements that improve operational efficiency, user experience, and compliance
  • Support new product, pricing, and packaging launches by ensuring downstream Quote-to-Cash processes and documentation are ready for go-live
  • Monitor deal trends and exceptions to guide policy updates, operational improvements, and sales enablement on quoting best practices
What You Need:
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Deal Desk, sales/revenue operations, legal administration, or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience owning or operating a Deal Desk function within Salesforce environments with hands-on CPQ platform expertise
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and their application to complex deal structures
  • Proven experience integrating AI tools and workflows into operational processes to drive efficiency and insights
  • Deep familiarity with SaaS and consumption-based business models, including multi-product packaging and pricing strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas and contract terms into simple language for diverse audiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with tight timelines and evolving priorities
  • Strong customer service orientation with a team-first attitude: "I am not done until WE are done"

What Will Make You Stand Out:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, particularly in open-source, AI, or data science-oriented companies
  • Previous experience with complex contract negotiations and long sales cycles
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or system admin experience
  • Familiarity with additional Quote-to-Cash technologies such as Netsuite, Ironclad, or similar platforms
  • Experience with Anaconda or domain expertise in modern AI/ML and cloud computing technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to source, scope, and lead strategic cross-functional projects that drive organizational change
  • Track record of advancing innovative ideas through sound business case development
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and execute effectively in changing environments
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and developing creative solutions to complex operational challenges

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $175,000 for candidates in New York City and San Francisco, and $100,000 - $150,000 for other US-based team members, along with annual bonus potential, equity participation, and benefits.

Within the range, individual compensation is determined by various factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
