Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Senior Technical Product Manager to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning. 


What You’ll Do:

  • Work to define and drive product vision, roadmap, and execution of Anaconda’s Core products, including our internal package build pipeline and automated build tools.

  • Build internal alignment around key product requirements and steward those requirements into the product roadmap.

  • Develop product requirements based on a data-driven approach and inputs from stakeholders across the business (e.g., executives, other product teams, sales, etc.).

  • Conduct industry/market research to identify product demand, positioning, and availability.

  • Advocate for and present opportunities to management and key stakeholders for consideration.

  • Write up clear and concise product requirements documents (PRDs) to align stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate PRDs into defined technical requirements and drive architecture decisions that guide product development.

What You Need:

  • 5-7 years of product management experience 

  • Proven leadership experience with highly technical, developer-facing products

  • Product strategy and roadmap development

  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of Open Source Software (OSS)

  • Understanding of package and environment management

  • Empathy for and the desire to improve the developer experience

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Experience working in a open-source or data science-oriented company

  • Experience with package building, or package environment management systems

  • Experience with long term supported products (supporting releases for 5+ years)

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. An MBA or other higher degree in a relevant field is desired
