We collaborate across all business functions, taking time to understand each stakeholder's unique needs while maintaining absolute accountability for data accuracy and accessibility. We explore new approaches to data integration and reporting, always seeking the most effective way to serve our internal customers.

As part of the Strategy & Operations team, this role will drive Anaconda's comprehensive data strategy from inception through delivery. You'll shape how we collect, unify, and serve data across Strategy & Operations, Finance, Product & Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams, ensuring every decision maker has access to a single source of truth.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the development and execution of company-wide data and business analytics strategy to ensure unified, accurate reporting across all business functions while partnering transparently with cross-functional leadership teams
  • Build scalable business analytics processes and infrastructure that eliminate data discrepancies and create consistent reporting standards across Strategy & Operations, Finance, Product & Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams
  • Drive the migration from Tableau to Omni while establishing data governance frameworks that ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across all stakeholder groups
  • Partner with data engineering teams to define requirements for data collection, transformation, and delivery using tools like DBT and Snowflake to support business-critical analytics and reporting
  • Develop and coach cross-functional teams on data best practices, acting as both strategic advisor and hands-on problem solver to unlock new insights from existing data assets
  • Own end-to-end data accountability from initial collection through final reporting, ensuring stakeholders receive clean, validated insights that directly inform strategic decisions and operational execution
  • Collaborate with DE to define sources of truth for different data, producers and consuming tools
Your impact will be measured through:
  • Reduction in data discrepancies and time-to-resolution for cross-functional reporting conflicts
  • Improvement in stakeholder satisfaction with data accuracy, availability, timeliness, and accessibility across all business functions
  • Successful execution of technology migration milestones and adoption of unified reporting standards
What You Need:
  • 12+ years of experience in business intelligence, data science, or analytics roles with progressive leadership responsibility (prior strategy or management consulting experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability building and scaling business analytics processes across multiple business functions in high-growth technology environments
  • Experience with modern data stack tools including SQL, data visualization platforms like Tableau or Omni, and cloud-based data warehouses
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional executive stakeholders and translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies
  • Working knowledge of data transformation tools such as DBT, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms
  • Experience leading teams through technology migrations and establishing data governance frameworks
  • You embody our values of Clarity, Care and Candor
  • You care deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish
What Will Make You Stand Out:
  • Background combining technical data expertise with business strategy or consulting experience, demonstrating ability to bridge analytical rigor with business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Track record of resolving complex data discrepancies and establishing single sources of truth across finance, operations, and product organizations
  • Demonstrated expertise in both strategic planning and tactical execution, with examples of personally implementing technical solutions while driving organizational change
  • You've successfully eliminated "shadow reporting" in a previous role by building trusted data standards and validation processes that executive leadership, customers, and board members now rely on exclusively. You can point to specific incidents where your governance prevented costly misinterpretations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience working in an open-source, AI, or data science-oriented company
Why You'll Like Working Here:
  • You'll thrive in a high-performance environment where results are recognized and rewarded
  • Your work directly contributes to shaping the future of data science, machine learning, and AI in the enterprise.
  • You'll work alongside a collaborative team that values diverse, thoughtful discussion, clarity and candor.
  • You'll be supported by a culture that puts employees first - with flexible hours, a fully remote setup, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing and growth.
