Summary

As a full stack Senior Software Engineer on our platform team, you'll be at the forefront of creating the enterprise-scale platform service that forms the backbone of our AI ecosystem. Your work will directly enable developers to build and deploy sophisticated AI applications both from backend services and the front end to these services. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, robust solutions that expand the capabilities of our platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement microservices and APIs for ML model deployment, inference, and management
• Help design and implement user interfaces to these services
• Develop and maintain scalable Kubernetes-based platform middleware solutions to support growing ML infrastructure needs
• Partner with product teams to understand developer needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Partner with UX designers to build state of the art interfaces that allow our users to maximize their productivity
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development

What You’ll Need

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Back end technologies such as Python, SQL, node.js
• RESTful API development for both frontend and backend (FastAPI)
• Database modeling for both SQL and NoSQL
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (ArgoCD), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm)
• Experience in container orchestration and microservices architecture
• Experience in system design including API development, authentication, and high-availability patterns
• Experience in building high quality and intuitive user interfaces with modern tools such as TypeScript, React, etc.
• Experience with major cloud providers and their more common services 

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Open-source contributions to infrastructure or MLOps tools
• Proven experience with the design and development of custom Kubernetes operators
• Familiarity of LLM systems and RAG architecture
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and understanding user research for prototyping and usability testing
• Familiarity with Anaconda's product ecosystem

The US base salary range for this role is $131,500 ~ $227,625 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual compensation is determined by various factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will provide more specific details on the salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
