The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst who thrives in an evolving, "bootstrap" environment. Our QA process is currently immature, and we are building a team who are passionate about creating robust testing frameworks where they don’t yet exist. Rather than just following documentation, you will be responsible for defining it, contributing to continuous improvement, and ensuring our web-based healthcare products are world-class.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategy: Help drive the test effort and define the strategic testing approach for complex web applications.
• Process Engineering: Contribute to the design and implementation of comprehensive manual tests, debug issues, and define corrective actions in a fast-paced environment.
• Defect Resolution: Work closely with development engineers to isolate issues by analyzing process steps, log files, and data input.
• Documentation: Write and review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics to ensure high-quality production deployments.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate production problems and stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies to evolve our internal QA maturity.

Required Skills & Experience

• Web Mastery: Extensive experience testing web-based products, including both eCommerce sites and complex Enterprise Web Applications. (Note: QA for native apps, videogames, etc. is not applicable for this role).
• Senior Expertise: While we welcome high-skill applicants with 3+ years of experience, we are ideally looking for candidates with a proven track record of building or "bootstrapping" QA environments.
• Technical Proficiency:
• • Strong familiarity with Git and basic Linux commands.
  • Proven experience with API testing and Cross-browser testing.
  • Ability to read and interpret application code/test scripts.
  • Manual QA Expert: Deep knowledge of test case preparation and testing methodologies.
• Analytical Depth: Strong analytical skills with a focus on Cause and Effect Analysis and the ability to identify edge cases in complex business logic.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are critical, with the ability to engage comfortably in technical discussions. Experience working with USA-based companies is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Gherkin, Selenium, and Docker.
• A basic understanding of JavaScript.
• Familiarity with QA Design Patterns.
