Position Overview:

The Recruiting & Credentialing Specialist provides recruiting, onboarding, and personnel security support for Anovaeon's federal government contracts and corporate operations. This position is responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified candidates, coordinating hiring activities, and managing credentialing and background investigation processes required for contract performance.

 

The Recruiting & Credentialing Specialist serves as a point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring, onboarding, and clearance lifecycle. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting background investigation packages, assisting candidates with completion of government security forms and eAPP submissions, tracking clearance progress, obtaining required onboarding documentation, and ensuring personnel meet all contractual and regulatory requirements prior to deployment.

 

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple recruiting and credentialing actions simultaneously in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts for federal government contracts and corporate positions.
  • Source, screen, and coordinate qualified candidates through various recruiting channels.
  • Manage applicant tracking systems, candidate pipelines, and recruiting activities while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Credentialing & Personnel Security Processing

  • Prepare and review Background Investigation (BI) packages and personnel security documentation required by government customers.
  • Coordinate candidate credentialing, security clearance, and public trust processes, including eAPP and related systems.
  • Track clearance status, onboarding requirements, and compliance milestones to ensure timely processing and contract readiness.

Candidate Support & Communication

  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout recruiting and clearance processing
  • Provide guidance on hiring requirements, security procedures, and onboarding expectations.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers, program leadership to support staffing objectives.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate recruiting, credentialing, and onboarding records in accordance with company and government requirements.
  • Generate status reports and monitor staffing, credentialing, and onboarding activities.
  • Handle sensitive personnel information with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.


Required Qualifications & Core Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Criminal Justice or a related field preferred.  Relevant professional experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Minimum 2 year experience in recruiting, credentialing, onboarding, or personnel administration.
  • Experience supporting federal government contracts strongly preferred.
  • Experience processing security clearances, public trust investigations, or background investigations preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare staffing, government contracting, or regulated industries is highly desirable.

Desired Skills:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Conditions of Employment:

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the following screening:
    • Federal background investigation (up to and including a Tier 4 DHS clearance)
    • Criminal history check
    • Verification of employment and education history
    • Compliance with all government credentialing requirements
    • Drug Screening
  • Employees must adhere to all federal security, confidentiality, and operational protocols while working within government facilities.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
  • Anovaeon operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.
  • If applicable, Child Abuse/ Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check with no adverse findings.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data-entry tasks.
  • Visual acuity for detailed document review
  • Ability to communicate effectively
