About the Role

As a Lead Generation Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, turning inbound and outbound inquiries into scheduled appointments for our Renovation Sales team. You’ll play a key role in setting the tone for the customer experience by engaging homeowners, gathering key information, and ensuring opportunities are accurately captured in our CRM system. In addition to supporting sales efforts, you’ll provide administrative and database support to the division and collaborate closely with Lead Managers to help keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced communication, staying organized, and making a direct impact on sales success.


General Summary of Position

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for the conversion of customer inquiries into appointments for the sales team; Renovation Specialists.  Also provides administrative and database support to the division. Position requires a high degree of phone usage, making inbound/outbound calls as well as data entry to CRM. Additionally, provides support and guidance to Lead Managers on day-to-day operations.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming sales leads via phone, internet, and referrals, with the goal of scheduling first-time appointments and providing accurate customer and appointment details to Sales staff
  • Follow up on unassigned leads, cancelled or rescheduled appointments, and daily customer requests to support appointment-setting efforts
  • Respond to customer questions and assist with scheduling appointments for Renovation Specialists in a courteous and timely manner
  • Review daily activity reports and outstanding appointments with management and complete assigned follow-up actions as directed
  • Maintain accurate CRM records by entering and updating customer information, checking for duplicate leads, resolving scheduling conflicts, and inputting sales dates to support data accuracy
  • Assist with special events and marketing campaigns such as Call-a-Rama events, open houses, and other initiatives, including appointment setting across divisions when needed
  • Support Lead Managers and Sales & Marketing staff with day-to-day operational tasks, assist with training activities as assigned, and participate in required team meetings
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education

High school diploma/GED or equivalent required. 

Licenses/Certifications

 

Years of Experience

Two plus years of relevant work experience required, Customer Service or Telemarketing preferred.

 

Sales experience with a solid understanding of effective selling and closing techniques, along with proficiency in database and contact management systems

Required Skills & Abilities

Excellent customer service, communication and telephone skills.

 

Strong attention to detail.

 

Good organization skills.
