About the role


The Business Development Associate’s priority is to build demand for the Anza platform among developer and IPP customers, identify and qualify opportunities to sell our solar module and energy storage subscriptions. You’ll work closely with the Anza sales leadership team to prospect for new sales opportunities, convey the Anza value proposition, and set up customer meetings to advance qualified opportunities.


(This is a commission based opportunity)


Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Creatively prospect for new customers who can gain significant value through Anza’s solar module and energy storage subscription offerings
  • Drive initial engagement with prospective customers through cold-calling, social media engagement, marketing follow-up, etc. in order to schedule initial sales meetings
  • Conduct targeted outreach campaigns in coordination with sales and marketing leaders
  • Gather requisite information to qualify prospective opportunities 
  • Understand and communicate the high-level Anza value proposition to potential customers and partners
  • Support the development of Anza marketing materials 
  • Attend conferences and trade shows, as needed, to support Anza’s industry engagement efforts

While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relative sales experience in the energy space
  • 3+ years of relative experience, renewable energy experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, or a similar CRM
  • Proven success presenting a value proposition

The pay range for this role is:

83,737.50 - 83,737.50 USD per year (Remote (United States))
