The Role

Quick Take - 

Provide business and technical pre-sales consulting for the Sales organization on the apexanalytix apexportal software, promoting a full understanding of the areas of specialization with an ability to resolve a wide range of business and technical issues in creative ways.

 The Work - 

  • Creates and delivers client specific demonstrations to sales prospects and travel when necessary to be client facing.
  • Develops strong relationships with sales organization to ensure teamwork and synergy.
  • Promotes and sells the complete product solutions to customers.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of products, integration, applications, and services of the company and its competitors.
  • Works with the technical implementation team to configure client specific use cases that will deliver the desired solution functionality and benefits.
  • Manages the product demo environment and drives changes and enhancements for product demonstrations.
  • May assist Marketing with presentations at trade shows or conferences.
  • Presales background (been prepping use cases/demo’s in current/recent role) and also has experience in the P2P space.

The Must-Haves - 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Management Information Systems is preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in a software environment either in a pre-sale, account management, or consultancy role; prior Software as a Service (SaaS) Procure to Pay industry experience is a required to be successful. 
  • Strong presentation skills at a technical and business level
  • Excellent customer communication skills with the ability to be an active listener Strong English language skills; German language proficiency is a plus
  • Ability to educate and advise effectively
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience and resourcefulness when solving complex problems.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
