The role will be responsible for expanding the Government business unit through strategic leadership, sales to strategic and key accounts through direct selling of software, building partnerships in government, and team building.

 

The Work


Responsible for the acquisition of Federal and State Government software customers in the United States. The role will be responsible for building our public sector business unit,  and growing and expanding our software business within the Public Sector. This position will provide market feedback and recommendations on the go-to-market strategy on the products, goods, and services we will be providing to targeted strategic public sector accounts within the Federal and State level government space. The position will support the renewal of existing products and the expansion of software services within the Federal and State level governments. This is a remote role with travel. 


The Must Haves

  • Experience selling enterprise software into Federal departments and State level governments
  • Comfortable building strategic organizational sales plans to grow a business unit
  • 8+ years’ enterprise software selling experience, specifically within Federal and State level governments
  • 4+ years selling P2P solutions
  • Knowledge of Supplier Information Management, Third Party Risk Management, and/or P2P ecosystems preferred
  • Experience solution selling SaaS enterprise software into large customers
  • Comfortable selling to senior government decision makers
  • Maintenance and improvement of customer relationships
  • Experience utilizing MillerHeimen, Siebel/Strategic Selling or other complex, consultative solution sales methodology required
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with FedRamp processes would be considered an asset
