Program: Futures First

If you're ready to lead with heart, strategy, and innovation, we invite you to join us as our TAY Workforce Program Manager for the Futures First initiative.
Futures First is a transformative program supporting Transitional Age Youth (TAY) ages 16–28 navigating homelessness, justice involvement, foster care, behavioral health challenges, and other systemic barriers. We walk with youth from crisis to stability, and into economic independence.
· Lead the workforce and career readiness components of the Futures First program
· Design job readiness pathways, paid internships, and placement partnerships
· Supervise a team of employment specialists, coaches, and navigators
· Collaborate with employers, workforce boards, unions, and training providers
· Track outcomes and ensure program alignment with CalAIM and funder requirements
· 3+ years of experience in workforce development or youth employment services
· 1+ years in program management or team leadership
· Familiarity with employment barriers facing justice-involved, foster, or homeless youth
· Bachelor's degree in Workforce Development, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
· Lived experience and/or bilingual (Spanish, Khmer, Tagalog) a strong plus
· Youth achieve meaningful employment and increased financial stability
· Strong partnerships with employers and local workforce systems
· Staff feel supported, aligned, and accountable
· Program meets deliverables and funding compliance requirements

The pay range for this role is:
80,000 - 90,000 USD per year (Long Beach)
