Location: Lancaster, KY

Base Hourly: $15-$18 hourly based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role – What You’ll Be Doing

The Parts Preparation Clerk plays a vital role in our process by getting recycled auto parts ready for resale. You’ll clean, inspect, scan, and organize parts — making sure they’re in excellent condition before they reach customers.

Responsibilities:

• Clean dismantled auto parts using pressure washers, brushes, and chemicals.
• Inspect parts for dirt, oil, or damage, and route unusable items to recycling.
• Load and unload parts into trailers for transport according to schedule.
• Scan and place parts in correct warehouse locations by type and category.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or process issues to management.
• Assist teammates as needed and follow safety procedures at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Reliable, punctual, and focused on the task at hand
• Able to follow instructions and work independently after training
• Physically able to lift 70+ lbs (heavier items handled with help)
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather
• Must wear PPE and avoid personal phone use during working hours
• Experience in auto dismantling, recycling, or warehouse work
• Familiarity with auto parts and tools
• Ability to operate carts and other warehouse equipment

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching most of the shift
• Frequent lifting of parts and pushing/pulling of equipment
• Regular use of pressure washers, tools, and handheld scanners
• Working in hot/cold weather as needed
