Base Hourly: $16-$18 based on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role – What You’ll Be Doing

The Auto Parts Photographer plays a critical role in ensuring our online customers can confidently purchase used auto parts by providing clear, accurate, and detailed images of each item.

You'll work closely with mechanics, warehouse staff, and managers to inspect, prepare, and photograph recycled auto parts, helping maintain our standard of excellence in e-commerce presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect each part before photographing to check for cleanliness and damage.
• Return unclean parts to the cleaning team and verify questionable damage with mechanics or managers.
• Take all required photos of every part type according to company photo standards.
• Required photos include:
• • A general overview
  • Images from each side
  • Close-ups of all relevant details
  • Visible part numbers
  • Clear documentation of any damage, wear, or non-removable dirt
  • A final image of the part tag
• Maintain camera equipment, batteries, lights, and backdrop in good working condition.
• Report any equipment or supply issues (e.g., zip ties, camera issues) the same day they are discovered.
• Keep the photo area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Follow daily photo targets and ensure timeliness and quality in all uploads.

Communicate proactively with your team and adapt as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and consistency in task execution
• Ability to follow a standardized process while maintaining high quality
• Experience using cameras and basic editing tools (strongly preferred)
• Reliable and self-motivated with good communication skills
• Able to work independently after training
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and handling physical tasks
• Flexible and respectful when working with a culturally diverse team
• Willingness to adapt to shifting priorities or workflows

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, and bending throughout the day
• Repetitive use of camera equipment and positioning of parts for photography
• Lifting parts (with assistance as needed) and working in a warehouse setting
