About YOU:

As the Communications Specialist, you’re a master storyteller with a knack for turning complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. Words are your superpower, and whether it's a press release, an internal memo, or a crisis response, you know how to craft the right message for the right audience.

You thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same, and you’re just as comfortable chatting with journalists as you are drafting leadership talking points. You understand the power of strategic communication—when to amplify, when to clarify, and when to step back and let the message speak for itself.

You’ve got a sharp eye for detail, an ear for tone, and a mind that’s always thinking two steps ahead. You know that internal and external communications go hand in hand, and you love creating messaging that keeps employees informed, media engaged, and the brand strong.

Most importantly, you believe in the impact of great communication—whether it’s inspiring employees, managing brand perception, or making sure our voice is consistent across every channel. If you’re passionate about storytelling, PR, and messaging that makes a difference, this role was made for you.

What is the ROLE:

As our Communications Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our company’s messaging strategy. You’ll be responsible for PR initiatives, internal and external communications, content development, and support with brand reputation management. From press releases to internal newsletters, executive communications to crisis response, your work will ensure we maintain a strong and cohesive voice across all channels.

Experience and Skills:

Public Relations & Media Relations

·       Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and corporate announcements.

·       Manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, PR Agencies, and industry influencers.

·       Assist in crisis communication and reputation management strategies.

Content Development & Copywriting

·       Craft compelling messaging across press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and corporate materials.

·       Ensure consistency in tone, brand voice, and storytelling across all communication channels.

·       Collaborate with marketing, design, and leadership teams to refine messaging.

Internal Communications

·       Develop and manage internal communications strategies, including employee newsletters, leadership updates, and company-wide announcements.

·       Support leadership in delivering clear and engaging messaging to employees.

·       Foster a transparent and engaged workplace culture through effective communication.

Corporate Messaging & Brand Voice

·       Oversee and refine corporate messaging across all owned and earned media.

·       Maintain a strong brand voice across corporate statements, presentations, and external-facing materials.

·       Monitor industry trends to ensure messaging remains relevant and impactful.

What You Bring

·       3-5+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, journalism, or related fields.

·       Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills—you know how to craft a message that resonates.

·       Experience in a streaming, media, or tech company, with a strong understanding of how communication drives brand perception and audience engagement.

·       Experience managing media relationships and handling press opportunities.

·       A strong understanding of internal and external communications best practices.

·       Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, leadership, and external partners.

·       Experience in a fast-paced, media, entertainment, or tech environment is a plus!

Why You’ll Love Working Here

This isn’t a sit-back-and-observe kind of role—it’s for someone who’s ready to dive in, get their hands dirty, and help shape how our brand communicates, inside and out.

You’ll thrive here if you’re someone who loves wearing multiple hats, can pivot quickly when priorities shift, and finds energy in solving problems as they arise. We’re a growing streaming company, which means things move fast, plans evolve, and opportunities come from every corner—and that’s where you shine. If this an opportunity that you feel like you will shine, we’d love to hear from you!
