Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Paid Media Specialist to manage and optimize all paid media campaigns for Victory+ and potentially other APMC brands. This role will oversee advertising across multiple digital channels, including Google Ads, Meta, Connected TV (CTV), Over-the-Top (OTT) platforms, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate is an analytical, results-driven technician with proven experience managing a variety of ad management platforms, capable of optimizing campaigns for efficiency and performance to drive subscriber acquisition and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

      Campaign Strategy and Execution:

      Develop and execute paid media strategies across Google Ads (Search, Video, Performance Max), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), X, TikTok,CTV (e.g., MNTN, Roku), OTT platforms, and other digital channels, working closely with marketing leaders to ensure paid media tactics align with campaign goals.

      Create compelling ad creatives and copy tailored to sports fans across multiple teams and leagues, aligning with brand voice and campaign goals.

      Manage end-to-end campaign processes, including planning, budgeting, launching, and monitoring–maintaining the ability to manage several campaigns simultaneously.

      Performance Optimization:

      Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and platform-specific dashboards to optimize for key metrics (e.g., Cost Per Acquisition, Return on Ad Spend, Click-Through Rate).

      Maintain performance optimization in Google Looker studio and/or MMP dashboards.

      Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, audiences, and placements to maximize efficiency and ROI.

      Identify underperforming campaigns and implement real-time adjustments to improve results.

      Budget Management:

      Allocate and manage paid media budgets across channels to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with marketing objectives.

      Provide regular budget forecasts and performance reports to leadership.

      Audience Targeting:

      Leverage audience segmentation and data insights to target sports fans, team-specific audiences, and regional markets effectively.

      Utilize first-party and third-party data to refine targeting and retargeting strategies.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration:

      Partner with the creative team to develop high-impact ad assets that resonate with sports audiences.

      Collaborate with the partnerships team to align paid campaigns with team-specific promotions and co-marketing initiatives.

      Work with the events and community teams to amplify event-based and local marketing efforts through paid channels.

      Reporting and Insights:

      Deliver detailed performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders, highlighting campaign successes and areas for improvement.

      Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging channels to recommend new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

      Experience:

      2+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns, with a focus on Google Ads (Search, Video, Performance Max,) and Meta ads (Facebook, Instagram).

      Proven track record of optimizing campaigns for efficiency and performance, with measurable results in subscriber/customer acquisition or engagement.

      Experience with CTV, OTT, or other digital advertising channels (e.g., X, TikTok, MNTN) is a plus.

      Skills:

      Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and other ad platform analytics tools.

      Expertise in campaign optimization techniques, including A/B testing, audience segmentation, and bid management.

      Ability to craft compelling ad copy and collaborate on creative development.

      Familiarity with sports marketing or fan engagement strategies is a plus.

      Education:

      Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.

      Creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is able to juggle several assignments at once.
