React Native Mobile Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a skilled React Native Mobile Engineer to join our growing R&D team and help shape AppWork’s end-to-end mobile experience. You’ll take ownership of building intuitive, high-performance mobile applications that make a real impact on how our users work. Working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering, you’ll play a key role in crafting seamless, beautiful, and reliable user experiences at scale.

This is a full-time position that will be remote to start, with the expectation of transitioning to our Israel office once it's open. What you'll do

  • Build & Deliver: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end mobile features using React Native.
  • Create Great UX: Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts and mockups to life with pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
  • Architect for Scale: Contribute to mobile architecture decisions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to align technical execution with business goals.
  • Lead by Example: Share best practices, mentor developers, and foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical brilliance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing production-grade React Native applications.
  • Strong grasp of the end to end mobile development lifecycle, including design, development, debugging, and deployment.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve platform specific mobile issues, with practical experience using monitoring and error tracking tools, such as Sentry and Datadog.
  • Strong knowledge of modern mobile tools, RESTful APIs, and local storage solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with designers and implement UX best practices.
  • Deep understanding of the mobile ecosystem (iOS and Android), including App Store / Play Store processes.
  • Strong sense of ownership, product thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
