About the Role

As our Manager of Product Development, you will coordinate day-to-day product development operations aligned to our product and content roadmap, and support cross-functional collaboration across Product, Content, Technology, and Creative teams. You will thrive in structured, yet fast-paced environments, and brings a balance of operational precision, team support and leadership, and problem-solving agility to help us scale high-quality medical and nursing education.



What you'll do


Project Management & Execution

  • Oversee the execution of the content and product roadmap including key milestones, timelines, deliverables, and cost management.
  • Coordinate with Product, Learning, and Design teams to align deliverables with learning and business goals.
  • Implement workflow tools and track project progress to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Team Support & Leadership

  • Manage day-to-day activities of a multidisciplinary team (~5 direct reports), providing guidance and task prioritization.
  • Foster a positive team culture grounded in communication, clarity, and accountability.
  • Develop and mentor internal content creators, including Medical Illustrators, Item Writers, Editorial Manager, Animators, Designers.

Product Operations

  • Help manage relationships and communication with contractors and vendors.
  • Create and maintain production calendars and proactively resolve operational roadblocks.
  • Monitor content quality and flag risks or delays to the Chief Product Officer.

Budget & Reporting Support

  • Assist in tracking development expenses and forecasting budget needs.
  • Report on key performance indicators including team productivity and resource allocation.


About you

  • Demonstrable experience managing projects or small teams in a tech-enabled content development or product environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams and contractor networks.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with tools like Airtable, Monday.com, or similar project management platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with a drive for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in EdTech or healthcare education
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and instructional design workflows.

The pay range for this role is:

105,000 - 120,000 USD per year (Remote (Austin, Texas, US))
