About the role

Ares Interactive is always looking for talented legal professionals who want to help build player-loved games.

We partner with elite studios to create cross-platform experiences rooted in a player-first mindset, live excellence, and enduring communities. Legal plays a key role in enabling our teams to move fast while protecting our business, our partners, and our players.

What you might work on

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements (partners, vendors, platforms)
• Supporting licensing deals and IP-related matters
• Advising on product, marketing, and live ops initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and platform requirements
• Managing risk and helping teams make informed, practical decisions
• Supporting corporate, governance, and operational legal needs

What we work for

• Experience in legal roles (in-house or law firm), ideally in tech, gaming, or digital products
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to provide clear, practical guidance to cross-functional teams
• Sound judgment and risk assessment skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ownership mindset with a focus on enabling the business

Nice to Have

• Experience in gaming, entertainment, or digital media
• Familiarity with IP licensing, brand partnerships, or content rights
• Experience with privacy, data protection, or consumer protection laws
• Experience working with global teams and multi-region compliance
• Law degree and relevant bar admission
