About the role

• The Ranch Property Maintenance Manager works under the direction of the Ranch Director of Operations to ensure that the Ranch is appropriately maintained.
  
  
  

What you'll do

• 1. Under the supervision of the Ranch Director of Operations, the Property Maintenance Manager is responsible for performing or scheduling all maintenance to ensure that utilities/services are in good working order in all Ranch buildings:

a. Upkeep of lighting and electrical service on the property, including the scheduling of professional electricians when deemed necessary.

b. Maintaining good working order of all plumbing, water, and sewage to all buildings.

c. Repair or replace necessary appliances in homes and buildings as needed.

d. Change HVAC filters monthly and working with approved HVAC companies for the upkeep or replacement of all heating and cooling units, as well as flu/chimney cleaning.
The Supervisor position is expected to provide 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends as needed, any overtime must be approved by your supervisor.

2. Under the supervision of the Ranch Director of Operations, the Property Maintenance Manager is responsible for performing or scheduling work related the facades/exterior of all buildings such as:

a. Gutter and downspout maintenance

b. Siding repair

c. Painting/staining siding.

3. Under the supervision of the Ranch Director of Operations, the Property Maintenance Manager is responsible for lawn and landscape maintenance to include the following:

a. Mowing and weed eating lawn areas. Occasional field mowing with tractor.

b. Mulch and weed flower beds

c. Tree and shrub pruning

d. Upkeep fences, gates, corrals, and recreation areas.

e. Maintain roads and pavement (especially in winter)

4. Assist other Ranch staff with the following miscellaneous tasks as needed:

a. Moving and transporting furniture, appliances, and equipment.

b. Caring for horses, cattle, or other animals on the Ranch.

c. Oil changes and other basic vehicle maintenance.

d. Assisting visitors, retreat guests, and residents of the Ranch when requested.
