Job Description
We are seeking a Mid-Level Business Analytics Developer to support the Department of Navy and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in Washington, D.C., located near the Washington Navy Yard. This position requires a requires a minimum of three (3) years data science (data structures & systems) experience. You will be working with a team of consultants, as well as independent direct tasking and communication with clients daily.
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work as needed at the Washington Navy Yard.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver passionate about leveraging technology to create meaningful outcomes. In this role, you will provide analysis and consulting to help support government clients with a wide range of data-related challenges, from measuring risk to optimizing financial decisions and strengthening data management approaches. You will develop, build, and implement tools and solutions such as databases and applications to automate common processes, streamline decentralized data collection, write queries for effective data isolation, and create user forms that provide intuitive user interfaces. You will apply data mining, modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. You will create dynamic data reports to visualize, interpret, and communicate findings effectively.
This position requires strong collaboration skills, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to help our government clients maximize the value of technology and data management tools to support timely and efficient government operations.
