About the role

Artisight is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Supply Chain Specialist to

take ownership of our overseas manufacturing and supply operations. This critical role involves

managing relationships with international vendors, ensuring the seamless flow of goods,

optimizing costs, and integrating supply chain processes with our internal systems. The ideal

candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep experience in electronics manufacturing, strong

negotiation skills, and established relationships in key Asian markets.


What you'll do

  • Vendor Management & Accountability: Oversee relationships with overseas manufacturing partners and suppliers, rigorously managing performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality standards, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • ERP System Integration: Lead the integration of supplier data, inventory, and production processes into the company's ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and operational visibility.
  • Process Automation: Design and implement automated workflows connecting the ERPsystem with Salesforce and potentially other business systems, facilitating seamless data exchange from sales forecasting through production planning and fulfillment.
  • Logistics & Compliance: Manage all facets of international logistics, including freight forwarding, customs brokerage, import/export documentation, and compliance. Develop and execute effective tariff mitigation strategies.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation and ongoing management of key manufacturing agreements, supplier contracts, and logistics partnerships to secure favorable terms, competitive pricing, and reliable supply continuity.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers as needed. Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction, lead-time improvement, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Oversee inventory levels related to overseas production, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and minimizing carrying costs while managing significant asset value.
  • System Expertise: Provide insights and recommendations on ERP systems suitable for a hardware technology company with complex international supply chain needs. Potentially assist in the selection or refinement of ERP solutions


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on consumer electronics or similar hardware technology manufacturing.
  • Asset Management: Proven track record of managing complex supply chains with responsibility for inventory/assets exceeding $10 million USD at any given time.
  • Global Sourcing: Demonstrated success in managing relationships and negotiating with manufacturers and suppliers in Asia, particularly with established connections in India.
  • ERP Proficiency: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with various ERP systems. Proven ability in system integration, data management, and process automation (experience integrating ERP with platforms like Salesforce is highly desirable). Ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate ERP solutions.
  • Logistics & Trade Compliance: Expertise in international shipping, customs regulations, import/export controls, and tariff management.
  • Negotiation & Contracts: Exceptional negotiation skills with a history of successfully managing complex manufacturing and supply contracts.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with internal teams (Engineering, Sales, Finance) and external
