About the role

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer to join our team. The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the technical deployment process throughout the implementation cycle. This includes conducting technical assessments, delivering client-facing technical presentations, managing client and internal technical resources, and providing general deployment support.

The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise to support both the client and Artisight’s DevOps team in meeting technical requirements. Additionally, the Implementation Engineer will ensure ongoing client satisfaction, with occasional post-sale support responsibilities to address customer issues. This role requires a self-motivated individual capable of proactively ensuring client success during deployment.


What you'll do

  • Collaborate with clients to define and provide technical requirements.
  • Manage and offer technical support throughout the deployment process.
  • Work closely with clients in both the deployment and account management phases.
  • Partner with Artisight's Service Desk & Cloud teams to transition deployments to a production-ready state.
  • Provide post-sale support in collaboration with the Service Desk & Cloud teams as needed.
  • Travel to client sites as required for deployment or support purposes.
  • Assist customers with test tools and applications, ensuring that all necessary technical requirements are met during deployment.
  • Deliver customer technical product training.
  • Escalate issues in a timely and efficient manner when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to establish project timelines, manage expectations, and define project plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with all Artisight product features, capabilities, and roadmaps.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments
  • Proficiency in Linux and web applications
  • Experience with Python scripting or similar technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in leading deployment software and workflow solutions
  • Experience in Ansible for configuration management and automation
  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, both individually and in group settings
  • Outstanding customer management abilities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time and tasks autonomously
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, deployment specialists, and client engineers, to deliver projects on time
  • Skilled in tracking, managing, and resolving risks and issues while maintaining clear communication
  • Deep technical knowledge of server, network, and storage systems, both on-premise and in public cloud environments
  • Experience providing go-live support to ensure successful deployment of projects
  • Strong empathy and understanding of a diverse range of users
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
