General Position Description

The CPG Sales Director will be responsible for managing and coordinating ground efforts to maintain and sign new partners as well as downstream demand for Arva Intelligence.  Focus on geographical areas within the U.S. by being the point of contact for new business and first point of contact.


Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Engage businesses with customer relationships that enable data collection to become a supporting part of their business

  • Work with Agronomic support staff to enhance local trade territory and its supporting business strengths

  • Manage Client relationships to enhance business adoption and future potential

  • Find holes in U.S. geographic territory and look for ways to expand business

  • Assist Local Agronomic Retailers and Suppliers with Customer meetings and informational seminars

  • Produce local ROI stories to promote business within Geographic Regions

  • Work with Partners to explore expansion opportunities within their organizations

  • Coordinate with Downstream buyers and internal Arva business development for expanded portfolio opportunities

  • Develop Business relationships with Biofuels Plants and their associated supply shed to expand footprint and secure long term opportunities

  • Develop Business relationships with Livestock and ancillary product groups and companies that build portfolio opportunities within our partners

Key Competencies / Requirements
  • 4 year degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience.

  • Must have 3-5 years of agricultural industry sales and/or business management experience.

  • Proven experience in project management and successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

  • Subject matter expert in agricultural practices and farm management.

  • Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment by staying open-minded and acting as a team player.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.

  • Excellent customer service skills.


Employment Eligibility

Only applicants currently eligible to work in the United States will be considered for this position. 

The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 160,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
