About the role

The Production Shift Lead will be responsible for supporting the roasting team with a diverse range of tasks, including prepping green coffee, packing bags and boxes, cold brew production, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Roastery workspace and laboratory. The Production Shift Lead will lead the production shift, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards and fostering a collaborative work environment. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00-4:00.

What you'll do

Oversee the production and shipping to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all operations.

• Demonstrates high integrity, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records.

• Contribute to routine cleaning and maintenance of roasting and production equipment; establish a thorough working knowledge of all systems; maintain a tidy work area.

• Maintains all GMP and sanitation practices.

• Coachable: able to receive and implement feedback quickly

• Approachable: able to forge strong interpersonal connections with folks of all skill levels.

• Impactful: able to communicate and convey concepts in a way the individual will understand and respond with engagement.

Qualifications

• Specialty coffee experience required

• Reliable transportation

• Open availability during the work week.

• Good organizational skills, problem solving ability, and intuitive resourcefulness

• Strong initiative and self-management skills, willing to take direction

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ~8 hours each workday

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and perform repetitive, range-of-motion activities
