The Role

The Data Scientist is a major contributor in driving our company's innovation and data-driven decision-making. By harnessing advanced analytics, automation, machine learning, and big data technologies, this role directly impacts strategic business outcomes, revealing actionable insights and predicting trends that shape the future of our operations. Embedded at the intersection of data and strategy, the Data Scientist empowers the organization to navigate complex challenges, optimize performance, and unlock new growth opportunities.   


The Work

  • Lead end-to-end data science projects, including problem scoping, data collection, data exploration, model selection, and performance evaluation. 
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve real-world business problems, such as predictive modeling, valuation of properties, time series forecasts, etc. 
  • Perform advanced statistical analyses and hypothesis testing, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and causal inference, to support product and business optimization. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, etc.) to understand business requirements and design data science solutions accordingly. 
  • Collaborate with data engineers to understand data sources/ pipelines, and to deploy models into production 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with real estate data 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, Masters degree is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in a data science role, with a proven track record of building and deploying models into production 
  • Proficient in statistics and machine learning algorithms such as ensemble modeling, survival analysis, NLP, and computer vision. Understanding of LLMs is a plus 
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development. Proficient in machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, iGraph) 
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with large databases and distributed computing (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

The Pay

Salary range is $150k-$170k per year, with a discretionary bonus adding up to 25% per year
