Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Architect to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data solutions using the Snowflake cloud data platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, cloud technologies, and a passion for driving data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake-based data architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Data Integration: Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data integration from various sources into Snowflake.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune Snowflake environments to ensure optimal query performance and cost efficiency.
• Data Security & Compliance: Implement robust data security measures, including role-based access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business objectives and provide technical leadership to junior team members.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Establish and maintain documentation for data models, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data architecture, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and SnowSQL.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• ETL/ELT Tools: Familiarity with data integration tools like Informatica, Talend, dbt, or similar.
• Data Modeling: Expertise in designing data models using methodologies like star schema, snowflake schema, and Data Vault 2.0.
• Security & Compliance: Knowledge of data governance, security protocols, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Snowflake SnowPro Certification or equivalent.
• Scripting Languages: Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation and data processing.
• Industry Experience: Manufacturing Industry experience is a plus
