Position Overview:

This role is for a motivated professional with strong AV installation experience, intermediate system configuration skills, and a proactive approach to project execution and client support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure commercial AV systems including displays, projectors, audio processors, and control systems.
  • Terminate and test a variety of cables (Cat6, coax, fiber, speaker wire, etc.) to ensure signal integrity and system functionality.
  • Read and interpret AV system schematics, cable schedules, and blueprints with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in rack fabrication, wiring, and labeling to industry standards.
  • Independently troubleshoot common installation and configuration issues.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Level 1 technicians on job sites.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, redlines, and daily progress updates.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of professional AV integration experience.
  • Familiarity with leading AV systems and manufacturers (e.g., Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Shure).
  • Strong cable management and termination skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • CTS certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Able to lift 75 pounds and work comfortably on ladders and lifts.
  • Professional appearance and positive client interaction skills.

As this is an onsite position, qualified candidate must be within 2 hours of Oklahoma City to be considered for the position.
