About the role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Developer to join our engineering/IT team within a global industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) solutions that support quoting and ordering of complex engineered products. The CPQ Developer will play a critical role in enabling configuration-driven sales, integrating CPQ with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.), and delivering a smooth user experience for internal stakeholders (sales, engineering, operations).

What you will do:

  • Design, implement and maintain Configuration Models within the CPQ platform to support complex product configurations and engineered-to-order products.
  • Configure and manage CPQ Data Tables, rules, pricing logic, constraints, and validation logic to ensure accurate quoting.
  • Develop and customize document templates using Document Designer to ensure high-quality output.
  • Customize the CPQ UX (user experience) — optimize layout, flows, and usability.
  • Implement advanced customizations using JavaScript within CPQ for dynamic behavior and custom validation.
  • Build and support Integration within CPQ and Integration with other systems (ERP, CRM, order management, pricing engines, etc.).
  • Support Commerce-related functionalities within CPQ, including quote-to-order flows and catalog management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into CPQ configuration logic.
  • Test and validate CPQ configurations, integrations, and customizations.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to configurations, data tables, UX, or integrations.
  • Document configuration models, integrations, and custom code.
  • Support and train end users on CPQ functionality.

What you bring:

  • Strong hands-on experience with CPQ platform components, including Configuration Models, CPQ Data Tables, Document Designer, Commerce, and CPQ UX Customization.
  • Experience with Integration within CPQ and Integration with other systems via APIs, web services, or middleware.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript customization for rules, dynamic UI behavior, calculations, and validations.
  • Solid understanding of quoting, pricing, and order-to-cash processes.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Nice if you have:

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or engineered-to-order products.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics — especially where CPQ integrations are required.
  • Knowledge of advanced CPQ features such as guided selling or complex constraint management.
  • Experience with data architecture, master data management, or enterprise integration frameworks.
  • Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD practices for CPQ deployments.
  • Understanding of compliance, documentation control, and industrial standards.
