About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Client Accounting Services (CAS) Quality Control Manager to play a critical role in our firm’s ongoing restructuring focused on automation, process optimization, and global team integration. This position is designed for a strong leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, can mitigate change management while ensuring accountability, quality, and alignment as our firm transitions to a more efficient and scalable model.
The CAS Quality Control Manager will oversee the deliverables of a global team of accounting professionals, ensuring that transformation initiatives are executed timely, accurately, and in full alignment with firm goals. This individual will partner closely with the Director of Outsourced Accounting to drive results, reinforce accountability, and support change management across the team.
Location
We are accepting applications from the following states ONLY: TN, KY, LA, MS, NC, FL, TX, AR, NH, and IN. This is a Remote position; however, hybrid opportunities may be available if the candidate lives near one of our office locations in TN, KY, or MS.
CAS Quality Control Manager - Key Responsibilities
- Accountability & Execution
- Ensure team adherence to all restructuring initiatives, new workflows, and process standards.
- Monitor deliverables for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with firm guidelines.
- Identify areas of misalignment and take proactive steps to refocus team efforts.
- Assist in holding team members accountable to performance expectations and transformation goals.
- Team Oversight & Quality Review
- Review and approve accounting deliverables, including, but not limited to, reconciliations, financial statements, and related work prepared by the team.
- Provide constructive feedback and help support ongoing professional development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Change Leadership
- Work directly with the Director of Outsourced Accounting to align team operations with firm objectives and key performance metrics.
- Communicate transformation updates, ensure consistent adoption of new tools and systems (automation, workflow platforms, etc.).
- Serve as a key change leader by modeling adaptability and reinforcing a solutions-driven mindset.
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Identify roadblocks and recommend improvements in workflows, automation, and client service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of standardized procedures and best practices.
- Support firm initiatives related to efficiency, scalability, and client experience.
CAS Quality Control Manager - Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
- Audit experience is preferred, but not required.
- 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience within a public accounting or outsourced accounting remote or hybrid environment required.
- Proven experience managing processes of a global team and a remote work model is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting operations across multiple industries and client types.
- Demonstrated experience leading through change management or firm restructuring with a proven track record of success is required.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Xero) and automation tools.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on review and problem-solving.
