Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC (“ACM”) is looking for an Appraisal Coordinator to join our compliance team. This position will be responsible for communicating with appraisers and Appraisal Management Companies (“AMCs”) on behalf of the Appraisal Desk regarding all appraisal orders. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, strong communicator with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. The position requires full-time work.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the loan origination system and vendor systems for appraisal order assignments
  • Address basic appraiser queries and identify issues
  • Communicate with appraisers and AMCs to ensure inspection appointments and completions meet deadlines
  • Request and monitor quotes on complex appraisal assignments
  • Communicate with the loan team
  • Review appraisal reports to ensure accurate fulfillment
  • Deliver appraisal reports to loan applicants, meeting ECOA Valuations timing requirements
  • Comply with general industry and Agency appraisal and valuation requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous Appraisal Coordinator or Appraisal Desk experience from a mortgage lender or AMC environment
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending processes and terms
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced, ever-changing environment
