Field HR Generalist (Parttime)

As patients ourselves, we saw the med spa industry needed disruption. We are rapidly expanding locations across Connecticut and the northeast U.S., with future plans to launch our brand nationally.

As Attune Med Spa continues to grow across multiple locations, we are seeking a Part-Time Field HR Generalist to serve as our dedicated HR partner in the field. This role is responsible for supporting employee relations, HR operations, compliance, manager coaching, and employee engagement while helping create a consistent, positive employee experience across the organization.

The Field HR Generalist will partner closely with operational leaders to provide hands-on HR support, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, and help foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as the field HR partner for employees and managers across all Attune Med Spa locations.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Coach managers on performance management, attendance, behavioral concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Support performance improvement plans, corrective actions, documentation, and separations.

HR Operations

  • Manage new hire onboarding and orientation following offer acceptance.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
  • Process employee status changes, leaves of absence, accommodations, and other employment transactions.
  • Partner with broader HR team and Payroll to ensure accurate employee information and timekeeping.
  • Maintain data integrity within the HRIS and related systems.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare workplace regulations.
  • Conduct periodic HR audits to ensure policy and documentation compliance.
  • Assist with employee handbook updates, policy implementation, and organizational communications.

Leadership & Manager Support

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Spa Managers and operational leaders.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, and policy interpretation.
  • Promote consistent application of HR policies and employment practices across all locations.
  • Support leadership development by coaching managers on effective people management and best practices.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Help cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Coordinate employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
  • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend strategies to improve employee retention, engagement, and overall satisfaction.

Multi-Site Partnership

  • Partner closely with leadership across Stamford, Greenwich, and future Attune Med Spa locations.
  • Travel regularly between locations to provide on-site HR support and build strong relationships.
  • Ensure consistency in the employee experience, HR practices, and organizational culture across all locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations and HR operations.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or field-based operations strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience conducting employee investigations and coaching managers through complex employee situations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

Position Logistics

Employment Type: Part-Time

Hours: Up to 20 hours per week

Work Environment: Primarily onsite, field/spa-based across Attune Med Spa locations

Travel: Regular travel between Stamford, Greenwich, and future Attune Med Spa locations as the organization grows

Schedule: Flexible weekday schedule based on business needs, with occasional availability to support employee relations matters and operational priorities
