Position Overview
The Copywriter will play a critical role in supporting the broader brand development strategy, working closely with the Creative Director and Graphic/Motion Designer to craft compelling, conversion-driven content. You’ll bring the brand to life through storytelling, sharp headlines, clear messaging, and emotionally resonant copy across a wide variety of formats and channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Write persuasive, brand-aligned copy for ads, emails, landing pages, product pages, packaging, and more.
- Collaborate with the creative and design teams to concept and execute marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Help define and evolve the brand voice and tone across all customer touchpoints.
- Support ongoing A/B testing and performance optimization by writing copy variations for digital assets.
- Translate complex or technical product features into simple, customer-friendly language.
- Develop scripts and storylines for video content, including UGC, paid ads, and brand campaigns.
- Contribute to creative ideation and campaign planning sessions.
- Maintain consistency of messaging across channels while tailoring tone to different audiences and platforms.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably within a DTC, e-commerce, or consumer product environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of marketing copy, including digital, performance, and brand content.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to write for performance (direct response) as well as brand storytelling.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative creative team.
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology, tone, and storytelling strategy.
- Bonus: Experience in health, wellness, or regulated consumer products.
