About the role

Mixing Operators are responsible for accurately measuring, combining, and preparing ingredients according to specified formulas. They set up, operate, and monitor mixing equipment to ensure consistent blending of materials such as chemicals, fragrances, and other components. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to maintain quality standards throughout the production process.

What you'll do

• Operate mixing equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
• Accurately complete required documentation in a timely and legible manner.
• Perform or assist with the staging and mixing of ingredients.
• Verify that correct ingredients are used for each batch.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to new team members as needed.
• Ensure mixing instructions from batch tickets are followed precisely for every batch.
• Work independently to produce high-quality products in a safe, clean environment, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Support daily production by mixing products according to the current schedule.
• Weigh and measure ingredients with precision.
• Clean equipment according to current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including specific protocols for Dry Barium, Liquid Barium, and Avadim Mixing areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or chemical mixing/compounding environment.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete production documentation accurately.
• Strong mathematical skills for measuring, weighing, and calculating ingredient quantities.

• Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work safely in wet, noisy, and non-temperature-controlled environments.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack and other material handling equipment as required.
