Avenue Z is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Paid Media team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to build their career in digital marketing, with a strong interest in paid media, social media trends, and data-driven strategy. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, with a desire to contribute to meaningful campaigns and grow within a fast-paced agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and others, under the direction of James (Paid Social Manager).
- Assist in managing campaign performance by analyzing data and providing insights to drive optimizations.
- Conduct research on emerging trends in digital marketing and AI, contributing to agency innovation and personal development.
- Perform account audits—both for existing clients and prospective opportunities—to help identify areas for growth and improved performance.
- Provide hands-on support to other team members across the digital marketing department as needed, while maintaining alignment with James’s strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with content creators to help develop assets that align with paid and organic campaign goals.
- Help manage social media calendars and schedule posts in accordance with campaign timelines and objectives.
- Participate in brainstorms and planning sessions, bringing fresh ideas to the table while remaining grounded in data and performance.
- Offer administrative and operational support for marketing initiatives, always reporting directly to James and ensuring tasks align with overarching goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of digital advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or similar.
- Experience working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel), including basic formulas, organization, and data interpretation.
- Strong interest in social/search marketing and a desire to grow into a high-performance digital marketer.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and extract insights to support optimization efforts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and data.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented—able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Creative thinker with a curiosity for emerging trends in digital marketing and AI.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
- Experience with management or analytics tools (e.g., Hubspot, Later, Sprout, Hootsuite) is a plus.
- Comfortable taking direction from and reporting directly to a manager (James) while supporting cross-functional teams.
