Role:
As a Lead Design HVCB, you shall:
- Lead and guide the team to design High Voltage circuit breaker up to 400kV class.
- Lead and guide the team to define and adapt the parts and its parameters suiting the product specification
- Plan, collaborate and perform analysis relevant for the product basic analysis
- Define and lead the type test regime of complete product and each component of DTCB as per IEEE / IEC
- Define and lead Qualification requirements of the parts and assembly as per the design to meet the type test and routine test performance.
Responsibilities:
As a Lead Design HVCB, you shall:
- Lead the team to design parameters as per the IEEE / IEC Type tests of DTCB.
- Lead and guide the team to perform basic study / analysis for DTCB such as Mechanical, Electromagnetic, Structural, thermal, Dielectric, Coupled field analysis, etc.,
- Make sure that the team understands and are capable to define the dielectric, mechanical and electrical clearances of HV parts
- Review and report the progress of various development projects with cross-functional and matrix structure.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure on-time and full completion of R&D projects.
- Review the customer requirements and assess the suitability and adaptability to meet the requirements to the fullest
Desirable Qualification:
- Master’s / bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Design engineering
- 10-15 Years of experience in HV product design and development.
- Leading and executing Type test regime for DTCB / HVCB as per IEEE / IEC
- Good knowledge on manufacturing and qualification process of HV Products.
Additional Requirement:
- Ability and willingness to travel 20%.
- Good communication skills
